Advancing sustainable consumption and production in Asia

The EU-funded SWITCH-Asia Network Facility, promotes knowledge on sustainable consumption and production (SCP) and dissemination of SCP best practices from 95 grant projects supported by the SWITCH-Asia program in 17 Asian countries.

The Facility is implemented by a consortium led by GFA Consulting Group. In January 2017 the Facility published Sustainable Asia, one of the most comprehensive studies on the status of SCP in various Asian countries to date. The publication focuses on key sectors such as tourism and manufacturing. Other recent publications by the Network Facility include a technical briefing on The Role of SCP in Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation and a magazine on the Circular Economy in Asia.
