TVET trainers upgrade skills in modern electrical installation
On behalf of the GIZ program Promotion of Economy and Employment GFA Consulting Group is responsible for technical teacher skills training in the context of technical and vocational education and training in Ruanda. In cooperation with the national Workforce Development Authority, 18 teachers specialized in electro-technics are upgraded as master trainers. The focus of the training course is on the professional praxis and training methodology.
The national co-trainer safeguards the link to NQF and the national vocational education standards for TVET teachers. Course participants have enthusiastically taken up new issues such as solar energy and will integrate these in their class lessons as part of the new Rwandan curriculum.
