Qualifications and Skills
§University degree or equivalent degree of at least three years in a discipline relevant to the scope of the assignment.
§Ability to effectively manage a wide-range of project activities in his! her field of responsibility.
§Ability to identify, organise, provide and manage general technical input and support to project activities in his/her field of responsibility.
§Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders, both public and private, within his! her field of responsibility.
§Ability to organise visibility activities.
§Strong analytical and computer literacy.
§Proven excellent report writing and communication skills in English.
§Chinese language skills an asset.
§Good knowledge of the Chinese context a distinct advantage.
General Professional Experience
§Minimum of 5 years of general professional experience in trade and investment policy design, legal and regulatory reform and enforcement.
§Minimum 2 years of project management experience, ideally with an EC financed project.
§Experience in an international assignment is required, experience in overseas assignments in development and/or transitional economies is an asset.
Specific Professional Experience
§Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in his! her field of responsibility
§Experience in managing technical assistance and institutional capacity building activities, including a team of short term consultants, in his! her field of responsibility
§Experience working with representatives of counterpart organisations in the field of expertise an asset. |
