The aim of the GTZ financed project is: Graduates of vocational agricultural schools achieve a sustainable income in production groups /cooperatives and participate in social and economic life in rural areas. Intervention areas are:

• Improvement of agricultural vocational education through teacher training, increased practice-orientation and curricular innovation (especially inclusion of entrepreneurship modules)
• Capacity building on decentralized level of Ministry staff (Ministry of Agriculture and Fishery, Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Education) and schools for the establishment of a support structure for the production groups
• Promotion of networking activities of the production groups
• Start-up assistance for youth groups/production groups and promoting integration into the village community
• Support to the conflict sensitive conduct (in schools and production groups)

Long term international expert for advisory services to stakeholders on the national level, establishment of structures for project management, assessment and coordination of capacity building measures and overall coordination of activities.

• Master Degree in vocational education/pedagogy or economy or agricultural economy
• Working experience in the following areas: Curriculum development, Training of Trainers, entrepreneurship/start-up promotion (e.g. CEFE) preferably in the agriculture sector, non-formal vocational education, youth promotion and organizational development
• Working experience in south east Asia (preferably Timor-Leste/ Indonesia)
• Fluency in English and/or Portuguese
