GFA Certification
The certification of forests and wood is constantly gaining on importance. Aim of the certification is to manage forests according to economical, ecological and social criteria. Furthermore, to warrant the origin of wood for wood products originating from these forests as well as their labelling. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has developed internationally valid and recognised guidelines and criteria that can be used to manage forests in an ecologically and socially responsible manner.
