January 2012 Baseline Studies Water Newsletter
GFA has gained substantial experience in providing consulting services in the field of pro-poor service provision, financing and regulation in the water sector. Expert teams have conducted national baseline and socio-economic surveys for different donor organizations to provide information on the situation and the target group in urban low-income areas around the world. This newsletter’s first article presents two of the studies carried out by GFA in Tanzania and Jordan. The second article addresses informal water provision based on a case study from Tanzania.

April 2011 Customer Management Water Newsletter
GFA has introduced tailor-made customer management for improving the overall performance of water utilities in Syria. The installation of customer care centers, and the implementation of customer surveys were key elements in this process. In addition, climate change has increased the need for efficient water use. GFA makes best use of its extensive experience by providing consultancy services to water utilities, assisting them in effectively facing this global challenge.

May 2010 Access to Safe Water Water Newsletter
The challenges related to the access to safe water and adequate sanitation prevail despite improvements in infrastructure development and service provision. GFA provides advisory services related to the development of financing instruments and low-cost technical solutions to scale up the access to safe water supply.
