Job Description
|
|
The Consultant - Project-Manager will work in the areas of agriculture, rural development and natural resource management and will have the following main responsibilities:
- Planning, coordination, follow-up and evaluation of ongoing projects and studies
- Execution of short-term and backstopping missions
- Acquisition, including regular contacts with clients, fact-finding missions and elaboration of proposals

Qualifications:
|
|
- University degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economist, Natural Resource Management or related fields
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant project experience, preferably in the framework of international development projects (EC, KfW, GTZ);
- Excellent knowledge in one of the following sectors, good knowledge of the other:
- Agricultural and Rural Development (e.g. irrigation, regional development, marketing, poverty reduction etc.)
- Natural Resource Management (e.g. erosion control, watershed management etc.)
- Fluency in English and French, good knowledge of German
