The GIZ health program in Dohuk, northern Iraq is designed to prepare the health sector of the region for the reception of several hundred thousand refugees and internally displaced people. As part of the activities, the regional Azadi teaching hospital in Dohuk is to receive a new building for emergency care, including several operating theatres, wards, a laboratory and medical imaging. The infrastructure works and medical equipment have been budgeted at 8 to 9 million Euro. The consortium Iproplan & GFA provides the architectural planning, supports with tendering and supervises the infrastructure works.
