Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program (REEEP)

The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (REEEP) program aimed at developing concepts for the promotion of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Bangladesh. The GFA-managed Renewable Energy component worked on practice-oriented dissemination approaches for RE technologies for households, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and public buildings, in rural as well as in urban areas.  All activities were closely coordinated with the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (SREDA), who also received capacity building support through the project.
