Project objective was the application of sustainable and biodiversity-promoting farming by actors in specific value chains: staple food and export commodities. Public and private agricultural extension services used related best practices as part of a national strategy for agricultural counseling services. GFA experts analyzed and promoted value chains and developed innovative business models. They integrated proven business models in policies and reform plans, and strengthened human resources of private and public service providers.
