Technical and vocational education and employment for young people
The Ministry of Vocational Education, Training and Industry (METFPI) delegated responsibility for project implementation to the National Fund for Learning, Education and Vocational Training (Fonds National dApprentissage, de Formation et de Perfectionnement Professionnel, FNAFPP). The objective of the program ("phase 1") is to improve the quality of and access to technical and vocational education and training in the three medium-sized towns of Kpalimé, Sokodé and Tsévié. A total of seven public or private technical and vocational training centers (Établissements de lenseignement technique et professionnel, ETFP) will be supported. During this first phase, the program will focus on the sector that employs the majority of the workforce: the agro-sylvo-pastoral sector.
