Improving framework conditions for a competitive private sector

The objective of this program was to improve framework conditions and enhance the competitiveness of MSME for sustainable economic development (Pro-Econ) in the provinces of Sofala, Manica, and Inhambane, particularly in rural areas. Local economic cycles wer strengthened through multi-stakeholder initiatives, value chain promotion, linkage building, and BDS development. By using integrated development partnerships, each of these elements was addressed in this project. In addition, local actors improved the business climate through result-oriented public-private dialogue.
