C³ SCHOOL: Training TVET school leaders on school management

The objective of the program, “Programe for Technical and Vocational Education and Employment for Young People” involving the Ministry of Vocational Education, Professional Training and Industry (METFPI), is to improve the quality of and access to technical and vocational training in three medium-sized cities - Kpalimé, Sokodé and Tsévié. In total, seven public or private Centres for Technical and Vocational Training (Établissements de l’enseignement technique et professionnel, ETFP) are supported.

Based on the C³ training methodology four training courses for school management were implemented in 2016 and 2017. In total 77 participants attended the five-days training course covering the following subjects: Leadership, Change Management, Quality, Learning and Teaching. Further training activities based on the C³ SCHOOL manual, are foreseen for the coming years.
