The recruitment and long-term engagement of suitable experts for tenders and projects is crucial to our business and fundamental to our success. The Framework Contracts (FWC) Unit implements various framework contracts for the EU, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and the Council of Europe Development Bank. These contracts involve providing services to support project and program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
 
Location:  We are primarily looking for someone for our headquarters in Hamburg. Other locations, such as our office in Belgrade, may also be possible with regular visits to Hamburg.
As part of the GFA Recruitment Department in Hamburg, you will collaborate closely with our recruiters in Hamburg, Columbia and Serbia as well as with the FWC-Unit team. We seek individuals with high motivation and a strong ability to work independently.

Your tasks

  • Conduct expert searches and proactively engage candidates through global sourcing to identify suitable experts
  • Manage the entire recruitment process for projects and studies under EU Framework contracts and other clients (FCDO, CEB, EIB, KfW, etc.).
  • Conduct personnel selection, negotiate contracts, and manage expert relations.
  • Maintain and expand our internal Expert Database through rigorous analysis and selection of CVs

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or master degree in human resources management or social sciences; a degree related to development cooperation is advantageous.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in development cooperation or consulting.
  • Knowledge of international personnel recruitment and acquisition is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, quick perception, hands-on approach, and flexibility.
  • Proficiency in French and excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of further languages like German of Spanish is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with databases is beneficial.
  • Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent self-organization, prioritization, versatility, and adaptability.
