Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Digital Innovation Unit, who will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions for our clients in the development cooperation field. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with project teams to identify requirements, design and develop software solutions, and support project implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software solutions using TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, Docker, and git, in accordance with industry best practices.
- Work closely with project teams to understand requirements, and provide technical expertise and guidance.
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to design and implement software solutions that meet project goals and deadlines.
- Ensure the quality of software by conducting testing, code reviews, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Participate in the maintenance and enhancement of existing software applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and share knowledge with team members and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of software development standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in software development.
- Strong command of TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, Docker, and git (at least 3 years of experience).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Knowledge of any of the following technologies is a plus: World Bank Survey Solutions, Apache Superset, Other Apache data stack tools, Kubernetes, Keycloak, and Python.
- MA in informatics or related field is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to developing countries for short-term assignments.
