Project description
Ghana Private Sector Competitiveness Program Phase II is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO. It is a bilateral initiative aiming at an inclusive and sustainable growth through enhanced trade and competitiveness in the cashew and oil palm value chains in Ghana. This goal shall be achieved by an improved enabling environment and higher private sector productivity and competitiveness in the cashew and oil palm sectors. The goal of the program will be achieved through working towards two overarching outcomes: - Outcome A: Improved enabling environment for the cashew and palm oil sectors i.Effective Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA) ii.Aligned policies and initiatives (of the government) Outcome B: Higher private sector productivity and competitiveness iii.Strengthened businesses and associations iv.Increased access to finance for SMEs v.Higher availability of skilled labor These outcomes will be achieved through three different modalities:

Job description
The Team Leader will be responsible for the overall implementation and coordination of the project, from the inception phase, though setting-up, implementing and supporting the three modalities. Her/his/their responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Project management,
- Coordination of the project team,
- Public policy development,
- Organizational development,
- Establishment of a cooperation platform with the private sector,
- Development of project concepts and technical support of beneficiaries,
- Financial administration,
- Monitoring and Reporting
