GFA joins Make-IT Alliance
At this year’s CeBIT, Dr. Klaus Altemeier, Managing Director GFA Consulting Group and the parliamentary secretary of state Dr. Maria Flachsbarth signed the letter of intent to officially become member of the Make-IT Alliance. GFA thereby joins Siemens, SAP, IBM, bitkom, the German-African Business Association and others in promoting digital innovation for sustainable and inclusive development.
Make-IT is an initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). With members from development cooperation and European IT corporations and partnerships with investors, social enterprises, hubs and networks, Make-IT in Africa GFA joins in creating an enabling environment for better access to finance, markets and skills. The alliance currently promotes tech-entrepreneurship in several African countries. An extension to Asia is in preparation.
