MagiCube for scaling up access to water supply and sanitation for the urban poor
Scaling up access to water supply and sanitation for the urban poor is complex. Solving this ‘Magicube’ depends on the right formula. GIZ has developed a Scaling Up framework based on the six sides (modules) of the ‘MagiCube’: Sanitation Chain, Access to Water, Financing, Information Systems, Implementing Actors and the Sector Framework.
In Kenya, the Water Sector Trust Fund (WSTF) successfully finances water and sanitation investments in urban low-income settlements at scale utilising the formula of the ‘MagiCube’. GFA provides advisory services to the Water Sector Trust Fund as part of the GIZ funded Water Sector Reform Programme.
We want to invite you to unravel the MagiCube together with us at a Showcase event co-hosted by the Water Sector Trust Fund and the GIZ Water Sector Reform Programme , Kenya during the World Water Week in Stockholm.
