Contract value: 1,273,075 EUR

The project overseen by GIZ aims to enhance the Tunisian administration by ensuring that civil servants are better qualified, motivated, and assigned based on their competencies and performance, as evaluated through objective measures. To achieve this, GFA has been tasked with meeting specific goals that involve the accreditation of Tunisian civil service training institutions and the certification of educational modules and resources. Specifically, the project targets the international certification of three prestigious institutions: the École Nationale dAdministration (ENA), the Académie Internationale de la Bonne Gouvernance (AIBG), and the Centre de Formation et dAppui à la Décentralisation (CFAD). Additionally, it seeks to certify various educational modules across public service training centers, which may include e-learning, teacher education, and modules focused on modern governance topics like good governance, leadership, and e-government. The project also plans to publish three practical guides to support the certification processes for public sector education and training institutions, covering aspects such as resource planning, gap analysis, and e-learning. Through these efforts, the project endeavors to significantly improve the quality and effectiveness of public administration in Tunisia.
