C³ Training on market surveillance

Within the EU accession process, the Serbian market surveillance system must be aligned with the EU system to protect consumers from products posing a serious threat to health and safety. Thus, a C³ training-of-trainers scheme was developed for the Market Inspectorate in the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunication (MTT). Four training manuals on new approach directives and risk assessment were developed and forty-five MTT trainers trained. The MTT trainers, with coaching by project experts, will train about 300 market inspectors.
