Multi-country
GIZ, 2014 - 2015
Contract value: 173,520 EUR

The project aimed at creating and expanding capacities of the renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) department within the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) for screening the existing project pipeline for feasible investment projects. The measure was implemented in close cooperation with the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), that disburses credits in the CARICOM region, and aimed to increase the number of loans granted for the implementation of RE and EE projects in the Caribbean region. The CDB was enabled to assess credit inquiries in a competent manner and thus to improve the investment climate for RE and EE projects. The project pursued the approach of direct advice to the bank at various levels.
