Coordination and technical support of the accountability program - phase 2

The overall objective is that citizens increasingly enjoy their socio-economic and political rights through the systematization of the demand and supply of accountability and the effectiveness of regulatory and supervisory institutions. The outcomes are:

1. Citizens are aware of their rights and duties and demand quality public services from central and local governments.
2. Local and national authorities are more accountable for delivering quality public services.
3. Social, financial and electoral accountability has improved through the strengthening of regulatory and oversight institutions.
4. BuCo partners have improved their internal governance and are accountable to their stakeholders.
