Curricula development for spatial planning

GFA elaborated training modules for the use of GIS and remote sensing products such as data, photos or maps for land use planning in the Horn of Africa. The modules were designed according to state-of-the-art adult learning concepts and combined theoretical and practical learning. They served as models for future full-scale training programs and improved the capacity of technical and senior managers of IGAD* institutions in their challenging spatial planning tasks.
