Energy efficiency in public buildings
The specific objective is to improve energy efficiency in public buildings and to therefore lower energy consumption and reduce CO2 emissions. GFA supports the implementation of specific energy efficiency measures in selected public buildings throughout Jordan. A broad range of services are delivered including the development of a program concept (work plan, investment planning, tender planning) and the program implementation structure (technical management unit, and steering committee). GFA supports the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in the identification of buildings and EE measures to be implemented as well as the development and implementation of an energy controlling and management system. Further activities includ the planning and conducting of training measures, program monitoring, and an impact assessment.
