Contract value: 2,624,500 EUR

The project Improvement of the Dairy Value Chain was part of the GIZ program Green Innovation Centres for Food and Agriculture in Kenya (dairy and sweet potato value chains) financed by the German special initiative One World Without Hunger. It focussed on supporting small-scale dairy producers (here especially women and youth), dairy cooperatives and milk collection centres and private actors in the dairy value chain in Western Kenya (Bungoma, Kakamega and Siaya County) to improve their income and employment opportunities and to strengthen their regional food supply through innovative approaches.
