GFA conducted a multi-country seed sector study in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, Togo, Tunisia and Zambia for the GIZ Green Innovation Centers for the Food and Agricultural Sector program (GIAE), financed by the One World, No Hunger initiative (SEWOH). The analysis was to inform the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and GIZ about the respective countries’ seed regulations, stakeholders and value chain. GFA developed recommendations for action based on key findings.
