Interactive tutored e-learning course on the management of cardiovascular diseases - Ghana Heart Initiative
The Ghana Heart Initiative (GHI) has developed in-person training for physicians, physician assistants, and nurses on the prevention and effective management of cardiovascular disease. In order to reach as many healthcare professionals in Ghana and neighboring countries as possible, GFA had been contracted to convert the existing training into an engaging and effective online learning experience.
The scope of the assignment included everything from analysis of existing content and training materials, development of a high-level instructional design document and detailed storyboards, capacity building for e-facilitation/tutoring, preparation, production and post-production of the actual e-learning course (instructional videos and other media), setup of a Moodle course environment, usability testing, planning and backstopping the pilot phase of the course.
