Job opportunities for Palestinian youth through dual studies - phase 2
This is the second phase of the project "Job Opportunities for Palestinian Youth through Dual Studies". The project objective was to implement and anchor an innovative approach of dual higher education at Al-Quds University (AQU) for five courses: IT, electrical engineering, economics industrial engineering and business digitalization. The overall objective of the program was to improve employment opportunities of Palestinian youth through a reinforced labor market orientation of study courses. GFAs task was to establish and develop an organizational structure for dual study courses in Al-Quds University. In addition, GFA supported the successive development office demand-driven dual bachelor study programs, including accreditation at Abu Dis and East Jerusalem. Furthermore, the project established the cooperation between university and industry for the introduction of the dual study approach in higher education, involving businesses and the local economy.
