Land regularization policy in the Amazon Region - Pará, Amazonas, Mato Grosso and Amapá
The project, financed by the European Commission, assists the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA - Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária) on issues related to efficient land governance and management, proposing and developing thereby innovative approaches. The specific objective is to improve and accelerate the process of land allocation and the regularization of public lands in the four Brazilian states Pará, Mato Grosso, Amazonas, and Amapá. The project focuses on providing advisory services for institutional capacity development as well as technical assistance within the land management process.
