Nepal EU Action for Recovery and Reconstruction - NEARR Support Facility
The NEARR support facility was complementary to the 100 million Euro budget support (State Building Contract) of the Nepal-EU Action for Recovery and Reconstruction. It provided services also after the budget support was fully disbursed. The Reconstruction Facility provided the Government demand driven technical expertise for the reconstruction process. The facility supported a transparent and equitable reconstruction process that enhances earthquake resilience. The facility may also provided if needed expertise to the Government for performance assessment, including support for the submission of the requests for disbursement and the related supporting documents under the EU SBC. In addition, the Facility supported the communication and visibility of the EU support to reconstruction in Nepal.
