North East Climate Change Adaptation Program - NECCAP

Within the context of this project, GFA supported the planning of adaptation measures of an € 76 million financial cooperation program on climate change adaptation in the North-Eastern Region (NER) of India. The overall aim of the program was defined as increasing the capacities of rural populations in five states of the NER to adapt their livelihoods to climate change and climate variability through participatory village-based land use planning, implementing sustainable climate change adaptation measures and policy mainstreaming for climate change adaptation.
