Providing high value services to SMEs through business incubators
The EU-funded project Business Incubators enabled to provide high value services to SMEs aimed at increasing the competitiveness and innovation of start-up companies. More concretely, its objective was to strengthen capacities of business incubators in Serbia, so they were enabled to provide high value added services to their tenants. The project consisted of three components: Assessing the current situation of business incubators in Serbia updating and deepening existing studies, upgrading services and design new services of selected incubators, and strengthening capacities of relevant stakeholders to further develop business incubators in Serbia in accordance with the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The project concentrated on two main target groups: business incubators supporting high-tech start-ups as well as business incubators supporting self-employment of vulnerable groups in less developed areas.
