Rule of law and fight against crime

"Rule of law and fight against crime" is component 2 of the project "Developing national capability for security and stabilisation in Lebanon"-ENPI

The aim of the project is to strengthen justice and security for the Lebanese people.
The Ministry of Interior / Internal Security Forces and the Ministry of Justice were supportet in their effort to:

• Professionalize the Police Forces thoroughly and build up visibility, appreciation and recognition amongst the public;
• ensure a more effective fight against crime and ensure the bettering of international judicial corporation and
• enhance the Road Safety and Traffic Management in Lebanon and the public’s trust in it.

The wholesome approach is to improve the capability and legitimacy of state institutions and security forces in enforcing the Rule of Law and fighting against crime in the full respect of citizen’s rights and liberties.
