Social marketing of HIV/AIDS prevention, phase I

The project pursued the objective of reducing the transmission of HIV/AIDS/STD and  decreasing the number of unwanted pregnancies within the population of Niger. Based on a social marketing approach, a sales and distribution system for condoms was developed and IEC/BCC measures were developed and executed. In order to ensure the sustainability of the marketing system, an autonomous NGO was set up.
