Support to local development (ADELNORD)
The northern part of Lebanon in general is poorer and less well developed than the rest of the country. The general objective of the project implemented by GFA was to contribute to national unity and to improve the living conditions of the Lebanese population by enhancing the development potential of the region that suffers from development deficits. The GFA team, in cooperation with national partners, aimed at contributing to a regional planning policy at the national level, and at improving environmental protection in the region.
