The program for sustainable management of natural resources in the South West Region of Cameroon (phase I) was a joint German Development program in which GIZ and DED supply technical assistance and KfW supply financial assistance to the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife (MINFOF) concerning the management of the national parks Mt. Cameroon, Korup and Takamanda as well as the surrounding areas. Conservation partners in charge of the co-management of the national parks within the framework of the Program were WWF and WCS. GFA/DFS was in charge of the overall coordination of the program in cooperation with MINFOF.
