The Lebanon Mountain Trail Association, a non-profit organization, was established in 2007 and it is the first long-distance hiking trail in Lebanon and the Arab region. Extending from Andqet in the North to Marjaayoun in the South, the trail stretches across 470 km through 75 towns and villages at altitudes ranging from 600m to 2.000m.

Jouzour Loubnan

Jouzour Loubnan is an NGO whose mission is to participate in the restoration of Lebanese woodland and promote sustainable forestation mainly in arid regions. From 2008 to 2013, more than 170.000 native trees have been planted, irrigated and protected across Lebanon’s Northern and Southern regions.
