Training on Operation & Maintenance

For several months now, the WWM project is carrying out trainings and seminars on O&M issues, such as

• Cleaning of sewers and manholes with suction vehicle and winches

• Cleaning of sewers and manholes by using combined vehicle

• Repairing sewers, manholes and street inlets

• Emptying septic tanks and installation of new house connections

• Occupational health and safety (OHS)

• ect

After the trainings, the waste water companies will be able to operate the new facilities financed by KfW in an effective and sustainable way. The trainings take place in all 6 participating cities.
