In June 2010, the WWM Project carried out an IEC campaign on waste water / solid waste disposal and public health.
The campaign aimed to change attitudes and behavior on environmental protection in the community, and to contribute to the improvement of public health of residents in the respective area. Local residents and administrative units were involved both in the preparation and execution of the campaign. In a debriefing meeting, representatives from the WWM project and the community considered this campaign as most important, but being only a very first step towards environmental awareness.
