In January 2008, Gottfried Roelcke took up work as the new Programme Manager (Auftragsverantwortlicher) within GTZ and Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) to the Ministry of Construction (MoC). He will be stationed within the premises of the MoC in Hanoi. This is his third assignment with the MoC. Previously, he had worked for the MoC as Urban Management Specialist Advisor under the umbrella of the AFD/ADB funded Central Region Urban Environmental Improvement Project (duty station Hanoi) and as Small Grant Project Advisor & Consultant Team Leader under the EU funded Urban Environmental Planning Programme in Vietnam (duty station HCMC). He will be responsible for the overall management of the programme, and he will implement its Component 1 "Strategic Advice to the MoC". He very much looks forward to working with the MoC staff and the programme team during the next three years.
