Technical and vocational education and employment for young People (phase 2)
In charge for the project implementation, the Ministry of Vocational Education, Professional Training and Industry (METFPI) delegated its responsibility to the National Fund for Learning, Education and Vocational Training (Fonds National d’Apprentissage, de Formation et de Perfectionnement Professionnel, FNAFPP). The objective of the program is to improve the quality of and access to technical and vocational training. While the first phase focused on the growth centers around Kpalimé, Sokodé and Tsévié, the second phase of the project will expand its field of activity to the regions Atakpamé, Kara and Dapaong. In total, seven public and private Centres for Technical and Vocational Training (Établissements de formation technique et professionnelle, EFTP) are supported. During the second phase, the program focuses again on the agro-sylvo-pastoral sector (agriculture value chain).
