INSPIRATION's new regional metadata portal
New metadata portal is one of the two pilot projects within the awareness raising activities of the INSPIRATION project. This regional metadata portal, so called INSPIRATION geoportal, enables users to create, edit, administer and search metadata. On one hand beneficiary organizations of the project will get user accounts and be authorized to create metadata records on their spatial data sets and services. On the other hand users, such as general public, can search for the right spatial resources they need for their projects. Once users find potentially useful information they can view detailed metadada that describe it. They can also link to available services and view them within the map viewer.
