Last regional event of the INSPIRATION project - European INSPIRATION Conference will take place in capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Sarajevo. This major, two-day event will be held on 5 - 6 November 2013 in Hotel Europe.
Following the European INSPIRATION Conference second national workshop for Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held on 7 - 8 November in Hotel Europe, Sarajevo.
INSPIRATION project financially supports study visit to Ispra and Vienna for three participants from each of the beneficiary organizations. Participants will have the opportunity to visit Joint Research Centre situated in Ispra and Umweltbundesamt and Bundesamt für Eich und Vermessungswesen in Veinna.

Regional Annual Conference on Cadastre and SDI in Belgrade
Sixth Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure will take place in Belgrade, Serbia on 3 and 4 June, in hotel Moskva. Conference is organized by the Permanent Regional Technical Commission whose members are National Mapping and Cadastre Authorities, and is supported by the INSPIRATION project.
2nd workshop on national level and INSPIRE day in Serbia
INSPIRE day will be will take place in capital city of Serbia - Belgrade on 5 June. After INSPIRE day, two days workshop follows, on 6 and 7 June in hotel Moskva.
1st workshop on national level and INSPIRE day in Bosnia and Herzegovina
First workshop on national level will take place in Mostar, hotel Ero, on 16 May and INSPIRE day on 17 May. Events are focused on topics such as establishment of Spatial Data Infrastructure, EU legal framework and INSPIRATION project.
On 22 - 23 April 2013, Second National Workshop will be held in Skopje at M6 Training Center. First workshop day will be focused on interactive working sessions of two important components. First one is related to legal issues where new draft of Macedonian SDI law and Macedonian legislative recommendation will be discussed. Second one deals with publicity and visibility and is dedicated to Customization of INSPIRE brochure and Awareness raising measures.
In capital town of Kosovo, Priština, Second National Workshop will be organized on 25 and 26 April 2013, in hotel Emerald.

Regional Conference on Capacity Building and Education, Durrës, Albania
On 05 March 2013 representatives from all seven INSPIRATION beneficiary countries will meet in second largest city of Albania, situated at one of the narrower points of Adriatic sea - Durrës. Besides enjoying beauty and rich history of Durrës, participants of the Conference will have great opportunity to hear valuable information on Capacity Building and Education. One-day Conference is divided in three sections in which interesting and significant topics will be presented by experienced experts in the field.
Second National Workshop will be organized on the 06 - 07 of March 2013 in Tirana, Albania. Its focus is placed on NSDI Law and other legal and institutional aspects of NSDI and INSPIRE in Albania.
INSPIRE Day is always a great opportunity for raising awareness of the spatial data infrastructure and INSPIRE in each beneficiary country. INSPIRE Day of Albania will take place in capital city of Albania - Tirana, on 08 March 2013
Two day National Workshop will take place on 19 - 20 February 2013 in Zagreb, at Faculty of Geodesy, Kačićeva 26. National workshop will mainly be focused on the participative discussion on NSDI Law and other legal and institutional aspects of NSDI and INSPIRE in Croatia.
The first National Workshop in Croatia will be held in Zagreb, 21 - 22 November, in the premises of the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning, Republike Austrije st. 20
Workshop on the national level will be held in Tirana from 07 – 08 November 2012, as the first national event of the INSPIRATION project to be held in Albania. Event will take a place in hotel Dinasty, Margarita Tutulani street.
Regional workshop organized by the European Joint Research Center (JRC) on INSPIRE and Integrated Land and Water Management
The focus of the workshop is set at various thematic applications from integrated coastal management to biodiversity, from transport to agriculture and aquaculture - just to mention a few - where interoperability and integration of different spatial data sets contribute to an effective and efficient solution of the related tasks. The participants of the workshop are requested to present practical applications and concrete implementation examples. Special attention will be given to the benefits of usage of integrated data management in the connection and as a support to EU policies and initiatives, as well as the problems still persisting in these fields.
As the first national event of the INSPIRATION project to be held in Kosovo a workshop on national level will be held in Pristina from 10 – 11 October 2012. The workshop will offer a combination of training sessions on EU requirements and European trends plus presentations on the current status in the beneficiary country.
An INSPIRE day organized by the INSPIRATION project will take place in Pristina, Kosovo on 12 October, 2012.

The main topics will be a general overview of the INSPIRE Directive and the status of the national SDI/INSPIRE implementation in Macedonia (FYROM).
During the workshop also first results of the project’s Activities 1, 2 and 3 will be presented.
The national SDI Days in Croatia on 25-29 Sept, 2012 will stage a 3-in-1 event incorporating not only the 4th INSPIRE Day but also the 1st Regional INSPIRATION Forum and the 2nd Regional INSPIRE Training. This year, these events at Hotel International in Zagreb will be part of the INSPIRATION project, and will be jointly organised by the INSPIRATION project, the Republic of Croatia State Geodetic Administration and Croatian Cartographic Society. This year's INSPIRE Conference will be held in Istanbul, Turkey on 23-27 June, 2012.The European Union’s INSPIRE directive aims at creating a European Union spatial data infrastructure (SDI). This will enable the sharing of environmental spatial information among public sector organisations and better facilitate public access to spatial information across Europe. The INSPIRATION team will participate in the conference. The team will present the status of project activities in a workshop on EU enlargement on 27 June, 2012 at 14:30.
The First National Workshop of the INSPIRATION project will take place in Belgrade, Serbia on 13-14 June, 2012. The main topics will be a general overview of the INSPIRE Directive and the status of the national SDI/INSPIRE implementation in Serbia. Aside from presentations on the approach and first results of the project’s Activities 1, 2 and 3 there will be further discussions on the national Implementation of the INSPIRE Directive in Slovakia and Austria as well as the European Initiatives for SDI and Earth Observation, GeoBalkanNet - Balkan in the Earth Observation etc.
The first regional event of the INSPIRATION project is going to take place in Banja Luka, Bosnia-Herzegovina from 5-8 June, 2012. The first two days, 5-6 June, will be dedicated to the first training on the implementation of the INSPIRE directive. This training will focus on providing data and includes speakers from Austria, Croatia, Germany and Slovakia. On 7-8 June, the Fifth Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial Data Infrastructure will be held. This conference is organized by the Permanent Regional Technical Commission whose members are National Mapping and Cadastre Authorities, and is supported by the INSPIRATION project.
The INSPIRATION Inception Workshop will be held in Zagreb, Croatia on 21-22 March, 2012. The primary beneficiary organizations will provide an overview on ongoing projects and donor activities in their organizations, and their needs and expectations. The project team will present their project implementation approach, including timelines for deliverables and a calendar of events. As a side event to the Inception Workshop the first Management Board meeting of the beneficiaries will be held to discuss the Rules of Procedure and the structure of working groups to be set up by the beneficiaries.
