The national SDI Days in Croatia on 25-29 Sept, 2012 will stage a 3-in-1 event incorporating not only the 4th INSPIRE Day but also the 1st Regional INSPIRATION Forum and the 2nd Regional INSPIRE Training. This year, these events at Hotel International in Zagreb will be part of the INSPIRATION project, and will be jointly organised by the INSPIRATION project, the Republic of Croatia State Geodetic Administration and Croatian Cartographic Society. Almost 80% of the information that surrounds us has a spatial component which indicates the significance of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI). The commitment to becoming part of the European SDI imposes a number of challenges. In that context, the organizers of the SDI Days wish to contribute to the development of geoinformatics, cartography, geography, geodesy, geology and related fields. Hence, the conference topics will comprise

The official language of the event is English with simultaneous translation to Croatian.

Conference Fees
1st Regional INSPIRATION forum and 4th NSDI and INSPIRE Day is free of charge, but number of participants is limited.
Registration fee for 8th Cartography and Geoinformation Conference is 1000 HRK+VAT, and the number of participants is limited.
