The first National Workshop in Croatia is being held after Zagreb has already hosted the Regional INSPIRE Training and INSPIRE Forum. Croatia is in specific situation as it is joining the EU in 2013 and the discussion on the new Law on NSDI that transposes INSPIRE Directive is under way. Therefore the INSPIRATION project adapts the Workshop agenda and content to focus more on the legislative and institutional setup, which would help Croatia in efficient and effective transition to INSPIRE Directive, but also in improving its overall spatial data infrastructure. The agenda includes presentations and discussion on Croatian NSDI Strategy, SDI Draft Law, with special emphasis on its Cooperation and Data Sharing section, and on Croatian Metadata Profile.
The Project experts will present on implementation of INSPIRE Directive in EU countries, about EU Public Sector Directive, about licensing in INSPIRE, as well as licensing implementation and enforcement regarding SDI. They will also present work and preliminary results of the project activities 1, 2 and 3.
Both days of the Workshop will include Questions and Answers sessions with some answers provided right away, and all the answers published on the Web site of the INSPIRATION Project.
