The training on AA/DCFTA: ‘Rules of Origin and Paneuromed’ was conducted in the framework of Component 3 and Component 2 on 21 of July in Kyiv (hotel Khreshchatyk). The training attended 23 participants from MEDT (Ministry of Economic Development and Trade), Ministry of Finances, State Fiscal Service (including Custom Posts), representatives of Automotive and Textile Associations. The Programme was prepared by STE Stefan Moser in close cooperation with TL Janos Zakonyi and STE Mark Hellyer in response to the demand of MEDT.

During two days in-service training “Project cycle management. Writing project proposals” held by Project Training Team headed by STE Marc van den Muyzenberg together with Senior Trainer Svetlana Batsyukova, participants reviewed the set of methods and analytical instruments used in development and implementation of projects, worked in teams to identify projects, solutions, development of the list of stakeholders and logical framework matrix. As a training result, participants developed logical framework matrixes of their projects. This included project objectives, results, indicators, assumptions etc.

On June 27, Association4U trainers and experts conducted a one-day training "Regulatory Impact Assessment" for the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and subordinated organizations.
In order to effectively transfer to the civil servants of the Ministry of Infrastructure the basic theoretical and practical knowledge on the assessment of regulatory influence and how to apply it in the context of the Association Agreement and the DCFTA, the senior trainer of the Association 4U Project Lyudmila Chernyaha, the younger trainer of the Association 4U Project Tetyana Palamarchuk and Senior Sector Policy Fellow Iaroslav Petrakov organized and conducted a special day-to-day training "Regulatory Impact Assessment".

During May-June, 2017 a series of in-service trainings on soft skills development for civil servants will be conducted by the training team of the EU-funded project “Association 4U”.
Within the framework of the series of trainings six in-service trainings are planned to be held. They will address the following topics: Organizing Effective Meetings, Negotiations and Human Resource Management. They will aim at improving such competences as: ability to develop strategies and agendas for meetings, knowledge and skills in managing human resources in public service, competences in note-taking, skills in choosing appropriate negotiation strategy etc.
