Climate resilience of forest ecosystems

This feasibility study supported the preparation of the Tripura component of the KfW supported climate change adaptation program in the Himalaya, which aims at the introduction of sustainable, climate adapted, participative management of natural resources. The program improved the sustainable forest management in Tripura and thereby allowing the forest managers and beneficiaries to develop and introduce a climate resilient forest ecosystem management that preserves biodiversity and enhances the sustainable benefits of the forests for the Patta land holders and other forest dwellers.
