INAUGURATION OF GFA'S OFFICE IN BERLIN

For the many years that GFA has actively carried out projects in Berlin, the company has not had a joint office there until now. This meant that many GFA colleagues in Berlin only met rarely or not at all. A regular exchange, a learning from each other, a 'GFA feeling' was therefore difficult to cultivate. It is for this reason that we are particularly pleased that we could finally celebrate the official inauguration of our Berlin office together with our colleagues and guests on 13 July 2023. 

How did the office come about? Last summer, the opportunity arose to rent additional space in the same building that has been home to our two Bilateral Cooperation Programme (BMEL) projects for many years. This allowed us to bring together the various offices of the Export Initiative Energy (BMWK), TolaData and the numerous in-house GFA staff working from Berlin. GFA Certification has also secured a workplace there. This means that about 60 colleagues are now working at the Wallstraße 15 location, spread over three floors.

After a long period of preparation - the new rooms on the second floor were completely renovated for us - the time had finally come on 3 April 2023 that the new premises at Wallstraße 15 in Berlin were (almost) ready for us to move in. In April and May, there were still many challenges until the internet really worked, and we could all feel “at office” in our now, well-equipped workstations. We are happy to share that presently our office shines in all its splendour and is happy to welcome visitors.
