CAMEROON BRANCH OPENED: WIDENING GFA’S WORLDWIDE NETWORK OF BRANCHES AND HUBS
As part of its strategy to strengthen its worldwide presence through a global network of branches and regional hubs, GFA has recently established a new branch in Cameroon. The new office reflects the company's commitment to being closer to its projects and partners while ensuring compliance with national legal and employment requirements.
During their visit to Cameroon, the GFA Managing Director and the Head of the Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment Department visited the ongoing projects and met with the respective clients and donors. GFA currently runs twelve projects in Cameroon, which are funded by GIZ, KfW and the CAFI. A visit to the new branch was also part of the programme. The exchange with its staff provided an opportunity to discuss the branch's role and to recognize the team's contribution to GFA's growing presence in the country. The launch coincides with the start of three new projects in Cameroon in 2026 funded by KfW Development Bank and the CAFI.
The Cameroon branch will play a key role in enhancing the management and oversight of GFA's projects within the country, offering a robust local presence and closer support to project teams and partners. It may help to identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with national institutions and clients, and position GFA for continued growth in Cameroon.
The visit emphasised the importance of dedicated local teams in delivering high-quality services and fostering long-term partnerships. By combining international expertise with local knowledge, the new branch will contribute to the successful implementation of ongoing projects while creating a solid foundation for future cooperation.
The establishment of the Cameroon branch marks another milestone in GFA's international expansion and demonstrates the company's long-term commitment to supporting sustainable development and fostering lasting partnerships in the region.
