GFA AWARDED CERTIFICATE OF MERIT FROM TANZANIAN TAX AUTHORITY
GFA was awarded with a first-position Certificate of Merit from the Tanzanian Tax Authority for its outstanding tax compliance in the Dodoma District in 2023.
The acknowledgment was received by the office manager of GFA´s branch in the country during the Taxpayer Appreciation Day ceremony that took place in Dar Es Salaam on 5 Dec, 2023. This recognition for GFA was earned as a result of numerous collaborative discussions and processes with tax authorities and donors. But altogether, it was a team effort of the people working for the Tanzanian GFA Branch (especially GFA´s Branch Manager, Mutegeki Mutaekulwa) and for all the projects implemented by GFA in the country.
For GFA, the certificate is an indication that striving for compliance does not go unnoticed when implementing projects funded through international cooperation. Therefore, GFA staff will continue their efforts to deliver the highest service quality possible while at the same time meeting legal requirements.
